My way of working
I employ a creative, adaptive and holistic approach to mental health, addressing not just an individual's symptoms, but ones overall quality of life. Having personally experienced the profound impact of therapy, I dedicate myself to providing that same space for others. My practice is trauma-informed, with a devotion to fostering a secure, compassionate, and inquisitive environment where individuals feel empowered to explore their inner lives and cultivate a deeper understanding of their interpersonal connections and place in the world.
Honouring individualism is at the forefront of my approach, with my way of working focusing on understanding and meeting your specific individual circumstances and needs. As an Integrative Psychotherapist, I draw upon a diverse toolkit of evidence-based approaches including Person-centred, Gestalt and Relational Psychodynamic frameworks in order to provide personalised care aligned with your specific requirements.
Within our therapy we may explore opportunities for repairable experiences, emotional regulation and work on practical tools that best support you. I believe my role as a therapist is to provide individuals with the things they need in order to thrive. My collaborative approach prioritises fostering lasting growth and well-being by cultivating mindfulness, compassion, and connection. The responsibility of supporting individuals during vulnerable times is a task which I uphold with the highest level of care and respect.
I operate within a anti-oppressive, LGBTQIA+ affirming, and intersectional framework.
